The story takes place 10 years after the end of Gundam F91. The movie's heroes, Seabook Arno and Cecily Fairchild, discover that Crux Dogatie of the Jupiter Energy Fleet is plotting to conquer Earth with the forces of his Jupiter Empire. In response, Cecily takes up her birth name "Berah Ronah" and recreates the Crossbone Vanguard, who disguise themselves as pirates attacking the Jupiter Energy Fleet. Seabook, under the alias "Kinkedo Nau," is one of the new Vanguard's top pilots. The other is Zabine Chareux, a veteran of the original Crossbone Vanguard. The main character of Crossbone Gundam is a teenage Newtype named Tobia Arronax, who gets swept up in the war between the Crossbone Vanguard and Jupiter Empire.

Mankind migrated to space colonies several centuries ago, with wars on Earth having long ended. Suddenly during the Advanced Generation (AG) Year 101 an Unknown Enemy (UE) appears and starts to attack Earth and its colonies starting a full-scale war. They destroy the space colony "Angel" in a disaster later referred to as "The Day the Angel Fell". In AG 108 the UE attack a once peaceful colony known as "Orvan". Flit Asuno, a seven-year-old boy at the time, had his mother killed in this attack. Before she died, she gave him the Asuno family heirloom—the "AGE Device" memory unit. Using plans hidden within this unit, Flit begins to develop the mobile suit "Gundam", humanity's last hope. In the year AG 115 Flit Asuno, now age fourteen, lives on the colony "Nora" in an Earth Federation military base named "Arinsuton". After seven years of research and development collaborating with the Earth Federation, Flit completes development of the Gundam AGE-1, allowing it to self-evolve through combat experience. The UE finally begins an attack on the colony "Nora" and now Flit has no choice but to fight with the Gundam!

The year is Universal Century 0092. After the death of Vice Commander Haman Karn, Zeon control was thrown into chaos. Supplies, ammunition and weaponry to the forces remaining on Earth were cut off and they were forced into difficult battles on all fronts. Zeon Forces from around the world have decided to withdraw. Universal Century 0123. In the midst of doing simulations, pilots Tokio and Kevin Forrest encounter an XM-01 Den'an Zon Mobile Suit running tests for the nearby Crossbone Vanguard. In order to preserve their secrecy, the Crossbone forces attack the Anaheim test ship Bladewood. They expect an easy victory, but are repulsed by the Bladewood's mobile suits. In order to enact repairs from the damage they sustained at the hands of the Crossbone Vanguard, the Bladewood enters a nearby abandoned space colony in the Zebra Zone. Inside the colony Iris, Tokio and Kevin are attacked by a Geara Doga. They successfully capture the machine and find the pilot to be a young girl by the name of Layla Lagiorr. After initially remaining silent she has an emotional outburst in which she explains that there are Zeon Remnants living in the colony and that six years ago the Federation came and slaughtered most of them. Confused by her story the Bladewood's crew decide to attempt to contact the Zeon Remnants and attempt to ascertain what is going on. They do so and discover the harsh reality of Federation forces that relishes killing the remnants of Zeon in a way similar to the Titans. Meanwhile the Ra Cailum class ESFS starship Ajax arrives at the colony in order to "aid in repairs" and transfer personnel under the command of Baz Galemson. Together the Zeon Remnants and the crew of the Bladewood realize that the situation surrounding them is not as it seems. Eventually, it is revealed that the crew of the Ajax knew of the existence of the Crossbone Vanguard and requested their help in "killing 2 birds with 1 stone", namely a group of Zeon refugees and the Bladewood crew. In desperation, Tokio steals the RX-99 Neo Gundam Unit 2 and joins forces with Layla to take down the corrupt Baz and the Ajax.

Universal Century 0087, seven years after the end of the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. Ensign Reccoa Londe has provided the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG) with information regarding possible mobile suit development at the civilian colonies of Green Noa. Lieutenant Quattro (Char Aznable) with his wingmen Lieutenant JGs Apolly (Andy) and Roberto (Ricardo) head to the colonies to investigate. On Green Noa 1, Kamille Bidan is rushing to the spaceport where the Temptation, a ship a former One Year War ace is on, is docking. He's hoping to get an autograph from the famed Captain Bright Noa. As Bright explains that he's on duty, Jerid and company interrupt the two. Jerid smacktalks Bright for receiving a two rank demotion upon refusing to join the Titans and grabs Kamille's photo saying he should sign it as an elite member of the Federation. The two get into a scuffle and Kamille is hauled off for questioning. Matosh questions Kamille about being an AEUG insider but just then he's freed after his story checks out. Just as the handcuffs come off, the Gundam MK-II crashes into the building...

After War 0024. It’s been twenty four years since a devastating war changed the Earth’s environment and nine years since the destruction of the newtype known as D.O.M.E. During a contest to win rights to salvage and perform shows in the Sea of Lorelei, Rick Aller rescues Rosa the Second (Rosa II) when her mercenary crew turns on her. With her mobile suit damaged, and his own small mobile armor damaged as well, they hide inside a sunken submarine that has been resting on the ocean floor since the 7th Space War. While investigating the ship they discover a black GX-9900 Gundam X and decide to use the mobile suit to escape in. But when they open the cockpit they discover the pilot of the mobile suit is still inside of it and in a state of suspended animation…

The Temple of El Alamein is a compilation of World War II short stories from the perspective of the German military personnel. As the saying goes, the winner writes history, and these stories are the untold, unwritten part of the history of WWII. Taking place between 1940 and 1945, when the war was at its most violent peak, each story takes place in a different part of the world where Germans were fighting. One story takes place in Egypt where soldiers find an ancient ruin that prove the existence of dinosaurs that helped build the Great Pyramids. Another story tells how one German fighter jet was able to take down a B-47 Stratojet 40,000 ft. in the air, far above what a fighter jet could achieve at the time.

Universal Century 0136, shortly after Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam - Skull Heart. Bernadette Briett's step-mother Europa Dogatie, flees to Earth to warn the Crossbone Vanguard that the Jupiter Empire is building a giant colony laser in order to destroy Earth. In Universal Century 0094, a live exercise for the MSN-001X Gundam Delta Kai is being carried out in outer space. This mobile suit is equipped the "NITRO System" that grants regular pilots the abilities of a Newtype. While the Gundam Delta Kai displays overwhelming power, a side-effect causes the test pilot's personality to become more aggressive. Back on Earth, the Earth Federation Forces aggressor squadron "Raven Corps" arrives at the Federation Forces Mariana base. Brothers Braier and Ing Ryude, who are pilots stationed at Mariana base, participate in a mobile suit mock-combat exercise with the Raven corps. During the exercise, the brothers are attacked by the Raven corps using live ammunition. Piko Altidore, captain of the Raven corps, reveals the object of the attack is the Gundam Delta Kai stored in "Area X" of the Mariana base. During the battle, Ing boards the Gundam Delta Kai to defend the base against the Raven corps' assault. However, the NITRO system brings about a berserk state in Ing, causing him to attack both allies and enemies. Piko manages to subdue the Gundam Delta Kai with a pulse grenade and opens a communication line with Ing. After this exchange, Ing seemingly joins the Raven Corps and departs the Mariana base in the Gundam Delta Kai.

In the year UC 0079, during the One Year War of the first Gundam series and eight years before the story in Zeta Gundam, a boy named Van Asiliaino and his friends attempt to flee the war, and their fates change when they meet a certain soldier.

Universal Century 0079.03.18 – The Principality of Zeon carries out their third drop operation. The 4th Terrestrial Mobile division make their way down to Earth. Chief Petty Officer Cuaran arrives on Earth as a part of the 908th Mobile Reconnaissance Company 2nd Team’s Commander. He would later be the man who attempted to destroy the Federation’s “white mobile suit”, the dreaded “Gundam.”

The year is Cosmic Era 73. In the midst of the second EA-ZAFT War, Gai Murakamo leads his Serpent Tail mercenary unit into the Republic of East Asia. Soon enough, a ZAFT unit enters the war-torn country with a squad of ZAFT soldiers….

Universal Century 0081. Directly after the One Year War, the Red Comet - Colonel Char Aznable - and the remaining Zeon forces head toward Axis after Zeon's defeat at the battle of A Baoa Qu. It is there where he has his fated meeting with a then 14-year old Haman Karn. In combination with dealing with the loss of his love Lalah Sune and his revenge against the Zabis', he must also deal with the advances of Haman Karn, Char must find his destiny in Axis and deal with a Colonel Enzo, who is bent on restarting the war with the Earth Federation.
