Tengujin is a story about two twin brothers who live in a slightly futuristic Japan. Eastern and Western Japan are splitting apart and have formed two warring nations. Sensoron is a controversial series of manga written by right-wing Japanese manga artist Yoshinori Kobayashi.

A gekiga work serialized prior to Barefoot Gen. It's about young people in postwar Hiroshima getting involved in the black market for weapons. The main character is an A-bomb survivor whose hatred drives him to kill an American black marketeer. He asks the Americans, "Who are you to talk about justice when you massacred hundreds of thousands of innocent people in Hiroshima, in Nagasaki, in the firebombing of Tokyo? Was that what you call justice?" Considered to be a controversial work amongst some American readers, due to the criticism directed toward America for the atomic bomb by the mangaka.

Saiyuki Offroad is a digression from the Saiyuki manga. Just like all the other manga of the saga, Minekura Kazuya and her assistants who did the art.[1] There are two parts to the manga. The first one (the Homura one shot) appeared on the early years of Saiyuki in G-Fantasy and has been inserted in some limited edition Volumes of Saiyuki Gaiden, while the second one was presented as a an official doujinshi when Ichijinsha joined the Comiket in 2005.
