Universal Century 0084, it's been four years since the One Year War. The economy is in shambles and the Earth Sphere is slow to recover. Eventually, even the military is hit by the recession and many soldiers are laid off. The special police unit BGST was feared as the "Dagger of the Federation" but even they are in danger of layoff.
