John K. Hiba, an ex-Green Beret is forced back into service by JCIA director Takechi to take odd jobs for the Japanese and American government, often involving someone that Hiba has a personal connection with. In addition to the violence that characterizes Saruwatari’s works, this manga is highly political, particularly criticizing American foreign policy during the Reagan-Bush years. Volume 1 includes the oneshot that would eventually lead to the series Damned.
